Ultra Low Temperature -85ºC Chest Freezer: Designed for highly specialized cold storage applications of biological samples, DNA/RNA material, chemicals, select vaccines and antibiotics, and other substances with strict low-temperature requirements. Advanced design: Interior walls feature more than 8 layers of D-shaped cooling pipes to ensure increased contact with the freezer walls to ensure maximum insulation and product efficiency. Manufactured in Denmark: model LAB8 offers 3.08 cu.ft. of storage. Extra thick 4 1/2" insulation and static manual defrost operation help to hold ultra-low temperatures suitable for maintaining the integrity of biological samples, industrial materials, laboratory specimens, select vaccines, and other materials with highly specific cold storage requirements. Temperature Adjustment: Two inner lids offer added protection by shielding contents when the outer lid is opened. The digital microprocessor controls are mounted in the front for convenient access. The unit has a temperature range that can be set between -50 and -85ºC in Celsius or Fahrenheit. The thermostat's high/low-temperature alarm warns if the interior goes out of the set range. Audible 9V battery-powered alarm in the rear of the unit that will sound in the event of power failure. Caster Included: We include a set of casters (two lockings) for easy installation to ensure smooth mobility. The easy-grip handle is equipped with a factory-installed keyed lock for added security.
