The thread gauge ring must screw onto the thread of the work piece manually, without excessive force, along its entire length. If this is not possible, the thread does not meet the required standards (rejected). A reference temperature of 20°C applies to the work pieces and gauges. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price on inquiry). Calibration is performed in an independent testing laboratory, following the specified standards and norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI), using IAC thread scanners.
- Manual Threading Test: The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the Werkstück's thread smoothly by hand without excessive force
- Thread Quality Check: If the Gewindelehrring cannot be screwed on, the thread does not meet the required standards (rejected)
- Reference Temperature: The Werkstücke and Lehren are calibrated at 20°C
- Calibration Services: VÖLKEL offers a Werkskalibrierschein upon request. Independent lab calibration follows set norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) using IAC-Gewindescanner
