Product Description Metacaulk wrap strip is a highly intumescent firestop material strip mainly for plastic and insulated pipe application. When exposed to fire, it expands and forms a very hard char to seal the penetration stopping the passage of flames and hot gases. Easy to install, cost effective, and flexible. Fire strip has longer length, meaning less wasted material. 2"X18". Use only in tested configurations; highly intumescent; prevents passage of fire; excellent freeze thaw. No asbestos fillers. Easy to use design; no solvents or hazardous ingredients. Can use a sealant over the wrap strip as needed.
