The Spear and Jackson neverbend carbon steel daisy grubber is a weeding tool which is best used by inserting the blade into the ground from a vertical position next to the centre of the weed with the prongs either side of the weeds stem/root, push the tool into the ground for approximately 2-inches and then lever out the root. Hard ground or fibrous roots may require extra cuts and leverage from more than one angle. The blade is pressed from a single piece of carbon steel for strength and has a hammer finished epoxy coating for resistance to rust, humidity and soil alkalis, the 127 mm (5-inch) handle is made from hardwood and has been weatherproofed to extend the tools life.
