Having a pet has a lot of advantages. Having a pet helps its owner overcome feelings of loneliness and despair because it makes him feel like he has a companion. In addition, the owner of a pet is obligated to exercise, walk, and interact with the animal outside.

Do pet owners know, though? Even though they seem healthy, pets can occasionally harbour harmful bacteria that can infect humans. Zoonotic diseases are those that affect people after contact with animals.
